Biovène Barcelona has debuted its Shampoo & Conditioner In-A-Bar range, and the #ReplaceTheBottle Campaign. The company’s hair care products follow through on the trend of sustainability with eco-friendly packaging and a product that reduces the need for plastic bottles.
Supporting cleanbeachinitiative.org, a global charity raising awareness and organising local beach clean-ups in Spain (Barcelona, Valencia & Malaga), the launch of both the products and campaign is to create a community of ‘beauty activists’ who want to support global change.
Every year, over 80 billion plastic bottles are disposed of from shampoo and conditioner alone. Out of that, 9 million tons of plastic gets thrown into the ocean annually, which breaks down to one garbage truck of plastic being dumped into the sea every minute.
Biovène Barcelona wants to stop this cycle in 2020 by making the switch and #ReplaceTheBottle with shampoo & conditioning bars in eco-friendly packaging to stop the need for plastic.
